Who operates this website
John Hopkinson Narrator LLC, based in Utah, operates this website to present John Hopkinson’s audiobook narration work. For privacy questions or requests, email john@johnhopkinson.com.
Email and project inquiries
The contact links open your email application. This website does not provide a contact form, newsletter signup or website submission database. When you email John, you choose what to send, which may include your name, email address, project information and attachments. That information is used to respond to your inquiry and discuss or manage narration work.
John uses Microsoft Outlook to manage email. Messages are retained indefinitely. Sending and receiving email involves your email service and the services used to deliver and manage John’s correspondence. Microsoft describes its processing in its Privacy Statement.
Website delivery and server records
When you visit, your browser requests pages, images, scripts and audio from our hosting service. Delivering and protecting the website involves request information, such as your IP address, the requested page or file, and the time of the request. The hosting account provides access logs and archives for site administration and troubleshooting.
Email retention is indefinite as described above. A single retention period for hosting, security logs and backups has not been verified; this notice does not promise that those records are erased after a particular number of days. Contact us if you need information about a specific record or request.
Audio samples and experience statistics
Our demo recordings are hosted on this website. Playing them uses the site’s controls and your browser’s audio functionality, without an embedded third-party audio service. Your browser may request audio metadata before you press Play and additional audio data during playback.
The experience-statistics display requests a same-site data file. Private spreadsheet credentials and the underlying project spreadsheet are not sent to visitors’ browsers.
Analytics, advertising and browser storage
This website version does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or advertising pixels. Its page scripts do not set analytics or advertising cookies or save visitor information in local or session storage. Analytics will remain disabled until its configuration, notice and any required visitor controls have been implemented and tested.
Cookies previously placed by an older version of this domain may remain in your browser until they expire or you clear them. This website does not provide an analytics consent or withdrawal interface while analytics is disabled. You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser settings.
